Inside Cake is a publishing project inspired by the visual culture of Asian cakes and food packaging from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Focusing on artificial frosting, decorative piping, vivid colors, and nostalgic commercial imagery, the project explores how cakes can preserve memories, emotions, and cultural fantasies. The final outcome includes a series of illustrated posters and a recipe book that documents the research, visual development, and fictional cake designs created throughout the project.Publication/
